SafetyTech Consultants, Inc. was founded by Calvin "Mac" Weatherman in Winston-Salem, NC, in 1993.  He was a self-taught safety man who rose from the ranks of equipment operator to become one of the most recognized names in North Carolina construction safety over a 20+ year career.  Mac was a tenacious champion of the working man's rights and spent many hours "presenting his viewpoint" in countless conferences and hearings.  Sadly, Mac has passed away, but will always be our "Consultant Emeritus".   

Currently, William "Sandy" Phillips serves as President and Chief Executive Officer, and William "Safety Bill" Fletcher serves as Senior Consultant and Chief Training Officer.  

Our consultants are currently based out of southeastern North Carolina and the Piedmont Triad area.  We cover the Charlotte Metro/Upstate SC region, the Triad, and the Triangle on a regular basis, but will travel out of these areas depending on your needs and schedules.
